[ITEM]: Cell Phone Laptop Repair Mat, 17.8” *11.8 ”, Premium Heat Resistant 932°F Silicone Soldering Mat, Large Anti Static Magnetic Electronic Repair Work Mat for BGA and Gun Soldering Iron, Workbench[BRAND]: AspireCells[COLOR]: Blue[UPC]: 762736225019I recently received the AspireCells Cell Phone Laptop Repair Mat, and here are my thoughts:[SIZE AND WORKSPACE]:The mat measures approximately 18”W by 11.5”H, providing a generous workspace. While it’s not a blue color I would want to wear, I really appreciate it on the mat easy to spot.[COMPARTMENTS AND ORGANIZATION]:The mat features three small compartments with lids, but they are not very stable and are just “okay.” There are also four sections with magnets behind the silicone to help keep screws and other metal fittings in place. I appreciate the variety of compartment sizes around the workspace, which helps keep things organized and within reach. However, most compartments are fairly shallow, and I wish they were deeper. Some compartments are almost too small to be useful, as they can barely hold more than a screw and are hard to dig items out of.[MAGNETIZATION AND LIDS]:I wish more compartments were magnetized. It would also be nice if there were more compartments with lids, and if the lids utilized magnets for better security.[MEASURING MARKS]:The measuring marks on the mat could be more visible if they were in a different color.[OVERALL IMPRESSION]:Overall, it’s a decent mat. The heat resistance and anti-static properties are appreciated, but I wish more compartments were magnetized and deeper. Despite these minor issues, it’s a useful addition to my workspace.
