Meh, not the prettiest things in the world. They work fine. I can grab things, they feel sturdy and secure. They’re light weight. Unless you have some opaque stone bowl or trivet, it’s probably not going to match anything in your kitchen. I will give them a check plus for trying to deliver some sort of unique look. Even though they’re plastic, they have a polished finish to them. There’s a section at the hinge that is deliberately left unpolished, which is understandable for function of moving tongs, but it’s also scratched up. Not sure why?? Bland or dull, I get. This scuffed area, albeit small, detracts from the overall image. Mine had some random scratches and I think the plastic could have been better buffed out along the spork edges. Not a huge deal but these look they’ve gotten a little use when pulled out of a kitchen drawer, even though they’re only fresh out of the packaging.
