These appear to be very well made motors. They are 12vdc motors and are very quiet. I wanted these for installation on raspberry Pi housings. They are obviously physically larger than the typical 25mm “Pi” fan being 50mm, but I wanted “considerably” higher air flow. These fans are clearly not made to install on “Pi’s”, and “the fit” on many housings will be “challenging” at best. But, they do move a LOT more air than the 25mm. Also realize, the Raspberry Pi is a 5vdc device and these are 12vdc fans. They both started and ran very well at 5vdc. Not recommending running them that that voltage but I don’t see a problem, nor did I have a problem. But, I am going to separately power these at the recommended 12vdc. (at 5vdc, they pulled 45ma)They appear to work well in any position, They are rated at 12vdc and .1 amps. (or 100 ma) At 12volts they pulled approx 88ma, at 12.7volts they approx 92ma, and didn’t pull 100 ma until the input voltage was 14.5vdc. Mounting is typical of this type motor. There was no detectable vibration. They seem to be very good fans for what I have in mind… (HDD home network storage server)
