I have a kind of awkward setup, but long story short – I needed to get the TV’s optical output to my bedroom. Luckily, there was already an unused Cat5e cable between the two endpoints, roughly 30 meters in length I think. This extender hooked it up and did the trick! It feels solid and professional in the hand.I live in a 220V 50Hz country, and there’s no issues, as long as I get a passive adaptor to plug the power supply in.The only thing I found missing is that there’s no cable included. I only had one optical cable at home, but I needed two to hook this up (one at each end). Make sure you have all the cables you need, or order them together with this. The only things in the box are the transmitter, receiver, and power adaptor. This is absolutely fine though, the listing never claims to include a cable and it was inexpensive compared to other options – even if you factor in the cost of the cables.
