Navy Blue Speaker Grill Cloth 60 Inch x 36 Inch, A-575

About as close to the JBL color as you’re going to get, thanks to the guys at Simply Speakers. The weave is a bit more dense than the original screens on my 4412s, yet it’s just as acoustically transparent. I was a bit intimidated by this project until I watched the video. WATCH THE VIDEO! For those of you who are also doing 4412s, I did the fabric just as shown in the video for plastic frames, but when I took the front strip badges off, I noticed the glue was through the fabric and down to the frame in the groove where the badges go. I thought there is no way the glue went on the front first, before the fabric. That would be a mess. So what I did was cover the frame first as shown in the video and let that set. Then I put glue on the front fabric in the groove where the badge strip goes, not too close to the edges, but pretty close on the left and right sides. That will make more sense when it dries. I then let that soak in good and through to the plastic frame and let it tack up. Then I carefully placed the badge strip back on the tacky glue and placed them front side down with some weights over the back side of the badge to set it good and flush in that groove. Worked perfectly. I hope this helps at least one other person. Thanks Simply Speakers!
