LOVE my new dark brown serving tray. Perfect for serving tea, whiskey, shots, small glass cocktails, etc. :0)This set was packaged very well in sturdy cardboard, major bubble wrap and thin plastic covering the wooden bamboo slatted tray.I really LOVE the dark brown color of the bamboo/wood. It looks more authentic/antique in my opinion. Unfortunately, there is a slight chemical scent perhaps due to the dark brown staining process? Hopefully the scent will dissipate after a couple days or weeks of airing out.I didn’t realize that the water tray was plastic, this set still looks great, but I just wish that the bottom tray was fancier (not plastic).This comes with a packaged plastic suction device and tube that can connect to the side of the plastic tray but I won’t be using it. If there is water condensation or liquid in the black tray, I will just take the entire tray to the sink and empty it. I’m sure there is probably some kind of tradition or process that I am not familiar with, but it seems like a hassle to remove the black plastic side plug, attach and drain liquid from the tray, etc.If you’re looking for a nice looking small drink tray and don’t mind the black plastic water tray, this is for you!
