I wanted an all in one solution for using any pair of headphones across the platforms I have (PC, PS5, Switch). It works great with the PS5. It shows up as a headphone and the audio is different than that coming from an audio extractor, which is designed to be for speakers. It works great with PC too.Sadly, this doesn’t work with the Switch, so this cannot be an all-in-one solution for using regular headphones. But if all you need it for is the PS5 or PC, you’re golden!EDIT 06-20-2024: This works great on android devices and Windows PCs, except for the Windows Netflix app. I don’t know why, but whenever the app sends audio through the device, it makes a very sharp and loud static noise. I was using a Chord Mojo 2, which has an optical input. Most of the time I use USB so I never noticed it until now. I have no idea why this is happening and it only happens with the Netflix app.I did experience this on the PS3 when using Optical to the Chord Mojo2 and that was because the bitrate was too high. That may be what is happening here, but even at the lowest setting in Windows, the noise still occurs. So if you’re wanting to use optical audio and Chord gear, beware of the Netflix Windows App.
