Bought this drive to store more SciFi TV shows as my 2TB was full.It’s quiet, but runs a little on the warm side, but within tolerance.I did a goof when initializing it and told Windows to make it MBR instead of GPT.OOPS! Windows 10 only saw a 2TB partition and a 1.6TB partition which was inaccessible.Fixed that with Drive Management, converted it from MBR to GPT and it showed up as 4TB.It IS a new drive as you can see from the picture of the SMART data hours, but no manufacturing date.It was never powered up before I got it (AFAIK), so it could be recently new or years old.Also it has a 2 year warranty and the serial number was registered by the seller.
